General Annual Meeting – Your generosity…our success!

BATHURST – The Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation took advantage of its 33rd Annual General Meeting in December 2023 to present a report on activities for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. You can view the annual report at the following link: https://www.fondationchaleur.ca/en/impact/annual-report/

The community’s invaluable support has strengthened our ability to offer first-rate healthcare to our population, as it has funded the purchase of state-of-the-art medical equipment and provided vital support to our front-line professionals. Your support has impacted the following areas with a total investment of $956,598: patient care areas ($807,015), diagnostic areas ($144,405) and staff development and other ($5,178).

The President took the opportunity to thank volunteers and donors for their commitment to the Foundation.  This year’s success builds on the success of recent years, since 1990, over $20 million has been used to improve various sectors at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.

The elected members of the Board of Directors of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation Inc. are: Jean-Guy Robichaud(chair), Jennifer Cleversey-Moffitt (vice-chair), Colin Brewster(treasurer), Jessica Poirier(secretary), Dr. Natalie Banville (ex-officio), Dianne Hachey, Clifford Robichaud, Christina Mallet, Norma Aubut, Monique Boudreau, Alice Hébert, Dr. John Leblanc, Danielle Goyette and Joceline Maillet-Boudreau.

The mission of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation is to work closely with the Chaleur Regional Hospital to identify and respond to the dynamic needs of the healthcare system, and to stimulate the involvement of our community.
